At the center of a new image made by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory is a young and powerful pulsar, known as PSR B1509-58. The pulsar is a rapidly spinning neutron star which is spewing energy out into the space around it to create complex and intriguing structures, including one that resembles a large cosmic hand.
It's weird (and fascinating) that something in deep space can create something as beautiful as this.

That looks so weird/wonderful/beautiful/strange...
ReplyDeleteThe hand of God?
Hand of God, maybe. The universe is a fascinating place...
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that it has a flame-like cloud at the fingertips. Like it's trying to conjure something.
Either way, it's still amazing.
